
Butler broke the oldest school record remaining at Brockport (set in 1977) with an opening 100-yard backstroke leg of 54.16 second in the 400-yard medley relay. He improved the record the next day in the backstroke event with a time of 53.94 seconds, earning ninth place.
Butler was part of the 800-yard freestyle relay that captured third-place overall with a school-record time of 7:09.80. The time was more than 21 seconds better than the qualifying time for the relay and shaved more than six seconds off the school record set in 1988.
His final record came when he shaved nearly two full seconds off his preliminary time of 2:00.69 to break the school record in the 200-yard backstroke. He finished 11th overall in 1:58.98.

Conklin broke her own school record in the 200 yard Individual Medley placing 12th in 2:19.03. The old record was set in her freshman season. The second record came in the 400-yard Medley Relay as Conklin swam the second leg in the relay that placed seventh in 4:17.13. The relay finished in 4:17.09 in the preliminary round of competition setting the new school record. The previous record was set in 1997.
