Athletes of the Week

Junior Maria Quagliana is this week’s female athlete of the week after earning All-American honors in diving.
Quagliana finished ninth with a score of 400.35 in the one-meter diving event at the NCAA Division III National Championship meet held at the University Aquatic Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
With the ninth place finish, Quagliana earns honorable mention All-American status. It is the first All-American honor for a female in the history of the Brockport Swimming and Diving program.
She also competed in the three-meter diving event and finished in 18th place with a score of 379.75, three points out of All-American contention.

Junior Andy Hilton is this week’s male athlete of the week after scoring four goals to lead the men’s lacrosse team to a 1-1 week.
Hilton scored once in the 11-5 loss to St. John Fisher College and tallied three goals, including the game-winner with less than seven minutes to play in the 7-6 victory over Kean University.
He has six goals and two assists on the season.
