Brockport scored twice in the sixth inning to take a 2-0 lead but St. John Fisher answered with three runs in the bottom of the inning to take a 3-2 lead.
Joy was replaced by Brian Wolf to start the bottom of the eighth inning.
Brockport is 21-1 with leading after six innings - the only loss was in game three of the season at Kean University when Kean came from behind to score three late runs for a 7-6 win.
